    What is actually happening

A survival alarm that never switched off

    • Calming treats
    • Anxiety vest
    • Plug-in diffuser
    • The crate
    • The camera
    • “He'll grow out of it”

The door closes, his body floods with stress hormone, and it never fully clears — so he starts every day already halfway to panic.

A woman's hands fasten the purple CollarZen collar around a golden retriever's neck; he leans calmly into her touch.

His own body heat is what releases it. Nothing to switch on, nothing to charge.

Side profile of the dog wearing the collar, calmly sniffing the air at nose level.

It sits where he breathes, so the signal reaches him all day — not only when you remember.

The dog turns away from the rainy window and settles happily against his owner, tail wagging, as she strokes his chest.

The trigger still happens. What changes is how loudly his body answers it.

Every trigger he doesn't fire on is cortisol he doesn't make.

    Why owners switch

What a 60-day collar does that the shelf doesn't

Coming home is a greeting again.
    • Left: a dog refusing a pill hidden in cheese. Right: his owner fastening a purple CollarZen collar while he leans into her.

NO PILLS TO FIGHT HIM OVER

Nothing to swallow, nothing to hide in cheese. It goes on once and stays on.

    • One CollarZen collar covers 60 days — three cover six months, where typical 30-day calming collars need six.

      SIXTY DAYS, NOT THIRTY

Most calming collars quit at a month. This one runs twice as long on one buckle.

    • Left: a dog lying flat and glassy-eyed alone. Right: the same dog in a play bow with his owner laughing on the floor.

      CALM, NOT SEDATED

He still meets you at the door. Still steals the sock. Just without the shaking.

    • Left: a dog with a bare neck ignoring his owner's cue to stare out of the window. Right: the same dog in a purple CollarZen collar, happily holding eye contact with her, leash slack.

      IT MAKES THE TRAINING LAND

The cues you already paid for start reaching him, because he can finally hear them.

    • A soaked golden retriever mid-shake in the park, delighted, water beading off his purple CollarZen collar while his owner laughs beside him.

      IT SURVIVES HIS LIFE

Rain, baths, the lake, the mud. Waterproof, so it never comes off and gets forgotten.

    Which one is yours

It shows up differently in every house

A golden retriever up at the window at night, barking at the empty street.

    The noise

The neighbour texts again. Barking at nothing is an alarm going off, not a bad habit — and an alarm can be turned down.

    An honest look

Where a collar wins, and where it doesn't

Treats and diffusers do real work for some dogs. They just ask something of you every single time.

    From owners

Find the house that looks like yours

Pick the situation you actually have. Every one of these is a dog who stayed himself.

    • Sarah M. and Buster, her yellow Labrador in a purple CollarZen collar

      Buster slept through the thunder

Buster is the sweetest Lab, but Texas thunderstorms turned him into a different dog — panting, pacing the whole house, scratching at the back door trying to escape. We tried everything, even the tight anxiety vests, but wrestling a panicked 70-pound dog into a shirt was a nightmare. The first storm with the collar on, a massive crack of thunder hit and he just lifted his head, looked around, and went back to sleep on his bed. And it lasts 60 days, so there's no pill to remember.

    • Harper E. from Denver, CO with their dog wearing a CollarZen collar

He curls up on the couch through the storm

Finn, my Aussie, was terrified of thunderstorms, and the high-altitude storms here are intense. He'd pace, pant and try to hide in the bathroom. He still notices the storms, but now he curls up next to me on the couch, calm and relaxed. It's given me peace of mind too.

    • Jessica S. from Orlando, FL with their dog wearing a CollarZen collar

      He watches the fireworks now

Charlie, my Golden, used to dread holidays with fireworks. He'd hide under the bed, shaking uncontrollably. Living in Florida we get a lot of celebrations, and it was heartbreaking to see him so distressed. Since he started wearing the CollarZen it's like a switch flipped. He still hears the booms, but now he just calmly watches from the window, sometimes even wagging his tail. No more hiding, no more shaking.

    Questions people actually ask.

If something here doesn't answer it, write to us. A real person reads it.

    Still unsure? support@neekozen.com

    Is this a sedative?

No. There's no drug and no sedative in it. Your dog stays fully alert and fully himself — the collar works on the stress response, not on his energy or personality.

Is it safe for a puppy, a small dog, or a house with a cat?

It sits on the outside of him and there is nothing to swallow — no drug, no sedative, no CBD. It is made for adult dogs, so check with your vet first if your dog is under 12 weeks, pregnant or nursing, or already on medication for anxiety. Size isn't a safety question: the same strap fits a chihuahua and a labrador, and the release doesn't scale with weight the way a dose would.

If you have a cat, the collar is on your dog's neck rather than in the air like a plug-in diffuser — but cats are more sensitive to essential oils than dogs are, so keep it on the dog and don't let a cat chew it. And if you see any irritation on the skin under the strap, take it off and email us. That's a refund, not an argument.

How long does one collar last?

Sixty days from the day you put it on. Most calming collars run 30, so one CollarZen covers what usually takes two.

How fast will I see a difference?

The collar starts releasing within about an hour. What you notice, and when, varies a lot by dog. Some owners see the edge come off in the first few days; for others it's two or three weeks before the baseline really shifts. If nothing changes in 30 days, send it back.

    Will it fit my dog?

The strap is 62 cm — about 24.4 inches — and adjustable. Leave room for two fingers underneath, then cut off the excess. That fits necks up to roughly 21 inches, so most dogs from a chihuahua to a labrador. If yours is a giant breed, measure his neck before you order.

Can he wear it with his regular collar?

Yes. Wear it alongside his everyday collar or harness. It's thin and light enough that most dogs stop noticing it within a day.

What happens in the rain, or at bath time?

Nothing. It's waterproof TPR — getting it wet doesn't dilute it and doesn't shorten the 60 days.

I've already tried treats and a vest. Why would this be different?

Because none of those reach what's driving it. A chew at 8pm has worn off by 9, and the storm arrives at 3am. A vest only helps if you saw it coming and you were home to put it on. Both work on the episode. This works on the level he starts the day at — which is why it's sixty days on him, not a dose you have to remember. If nothing at home changes in thirty days, you write to us and the money goes back.

My dog is aggressive. Will this fix it?

Don't buy it for that. Aggression and severe distress need a veterinarian or a qualified behaviorist, not a wellness product. CollarZen is for anxiety — the storms, the empty house, the car.

    What if it doesn't work?

Return it within 30 days and we refund it in full. You don't need to send back an unused collar or argue your case.
